성균관의대 삼성서울병원 임재훈 교수(영상의학과)가 유럽의 권위 있는 학술지 ‘Clinical Radiology’에서 해마다 가장 뛰어난 논문에 수여하는 ‘Ellis Barnett Prize’의 2006년 수상자로 선정됐다.
임 교수는 ‘간암의 초음파 발견: 수술전 초음파와 절제한 간 조직병리와의 상관성(Ultrasonographic detection of hepatocellular carcinoma: correlation of preoperative ultrasonography and resected liver pathology)’이라는 논문을 게재, 우수성이 인정돼 수상자에 선정됐다.
