보라매병원(병원장 정희원) 신경과 권형민 교수가 지난 6월 18~20일 그랜드 인터콘티넨탈 호텔에서 개최된 ‘제3차 국제 두개강내 동맥경화 학술대회(ICAS) 및 2008 대한뇌졸중학회 춘계학술대회’에서 우수구연상을 수상했다.
권 교수는 대회 첫날인 18일 Clinical aspects & Metabolic syndrome세션에서 'Significant associations of metabolic syndrome and its components with silent brain infarction in elderly people'이란 제목으로 구연을 발표했다.
