전북대병원 송경진, 이광복 교수 연구팀은 4월 25일 일본 고베에서 막을 내린 아시아태평양경추연구학회에서 ‘Orgnotypic human spinal cord slice culture as an alternative to direct transplantation of human bone marrow precusor cells for treating spinal cord injury (척수손상 치료를 위해 사용되는 인간 골수전구세포의 직접적인 이식 효과 규명에 대한 대체방법으로서 인간척수절편기관배양법)’라는 논문을 발표해 우수포스터상을 받았다.
