한양대학교병원은 "정신건강의학과 오동훈 교수의 논문이 오는 23~24일 서울에서 개최되는 '아시아 신경정신약물학회'의 Fellowship Award로 선정됐다"고 밝혔다. 이번에 수상하게 되는 논문은 'Neuropathological Abnormalities of Astrocytes, GABAergic Neurons and Pyramidal Neurons in the Dorsolateral Prefrontal Cortices of Patients with Major Depressive Disorder'로 우울증 환자의 전전두엽에서의 글루타메이트 농도의 증가로 인한 신경세포 손상 기전을 설명했다.
