서울대학교병원 이비인후과 권성근 교수가 최근 그랜드힐튼호텔에서 개최된 제88차 대한이비인후과학회 학술대회에서 '석당우수논문상' 최고의 영예인 1등 수상자로 선정됐다. 권 교수는 줄기세포를 이용한 두경부암의 선택적 치료에 대한 논문 ‘Selective delivery of a therapeutic gene for treatment of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma using human neural stem cell’ 의 우수성을 인정받았다.
